January 8, 2015 — The final day is arriving for operators of New England shrimp trawlers to apply to join a research project in the states of Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Participants will fish in the Gulf of Maine about every two weeks until the shrimp are no longer carrying eggs. Thursday is the final day to request to participate.
A total of $10,000 is available.
