November 26, 2012 — During the week of December 10th, 2012 the Population Dynamics Branch of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center will be conducting an open meeting in Woods Hole to review data for use in the upcoming white hake stock assessment. In preparation for the meeting we are soliciting input from interested fishermen on any observations they would like to provide regarding the nature of the fisheries or catches.
Although observations can be shared during the meeting, we are asking for written comments to accommodate those unable to attend. A discussion of these comments will be added to the meeting agenda for the afternoon of December 11th. We would ask that written comments pertaining to commercial or recreational catch data be provided by December 5th, 2012.
