December 15, 2014 — The 5th Arab Congress on Investment and Exploitation of Fishery Resources and Food Security started Monday in Algiers with the participation of several Arab ministers and representatives of Arab and regional organizations.
Organized by the Ministry of Fishing and Fishery Resources in collaboration with the Arab Federation of Fish Producers, the congress will examine notably the ways to promote investment in the fishing sector, reinforce inter-Arab trade and develop Arab policies in the exploitation of fishery resources.
