It’s been a year since Thailand dropped to Tier 3 on the U.S. State Department’s Trafficking in Persons Report, in part due to the country’s lack of controlling the ongoing problem of human trafficking in the fishing industry.
Recent media reports show the problem still exists and importers at the other end of the supply chain need to consider their options to prevent being connected to this kind of behavior.
