The BBC reports on warnings that bluefin tuna could start to disappear from the sea as early as 2012. But they also note that other species of tuna are not in such peril. According to reports the creatures, known as the "cheetahs of the ocean", could be driven to extinction by our growing appetite for sushi and omega-3 oils.
