September 5, 2013 — Port Lincoln's southern bluefin tuna harvest has finished with the industry seeing close to the worst prices for fish in 20 years.
Although the quality of fish from the harvest was very high, Australian Southern Bluefin Tuna Industry Association chief executive officer Brian Jeffriess said prices were the second lowest he had seen since farming started in 1993.
He said the industry's harvest finished last week.
