January 15, 2015 — The oceans advocacy group issued a report Wednesday that compares offshore wind development vs. drilling for oil and gas in Atlantic waters. Oceana said the economic analysis found that wind development would produce twice the number of jobs and energy as oil and gas drilling.
A report issued by Oceana concludes the development of wind turbines off Virginia’s coast would create thousands of jobs.
