May 12, 2015 — Diversified fishing group Oceana could be angling for a deal in the US.
Oceana, which is controlled by consumer brands conglomerate Tiger Brands, advised shareholders on Monday night that it was in “advanced discussions” with Daybrook Holdings, a US-based fishing and processing operation.
Oceana has been acquisitive over the past few years, buying parts of Lusitania Fishing and Foodcorp’s fishing business.
