May 10, 2015 — A Maine fishermen’s group is getting $175,000 in federal money to help develop a program that would allow consumers to identify the fishermen who caught their seafood.
The Maine Coast Fishermen’s Association is getting the money from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to work on its program that will also allow buyers to find out where and when their seafood was caught.
