PANAMA CITY, Fl. — January 5, 2014 — Local seafood restaurants are dealing with a shortage of one of their most popular food items, oysters.
The rainy weather caused some local bays to temporarily close. This means restaurants will wait until the bays reopen to get more oysters.
Some restaurants are looking at Louisiana and Texas to get oysters to serve., but one local restaurant is already getting its oysters from these states.
