August 27, 2019 — The following was released by the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission:
The benchmark stock assessment for Atlantic cobia will be peer-reviewed through the SouthEast Data, Assessment and Review (SEDAR) on November 19 –21, 2019 at the Beaufort Hotel, 2440 Lennoxville Road, Beaufort, NC. The assessment will be used to evaluate the health of the stock and inform management of the species.
Review Workshops are open to the public, with the exception of select closed sessions for Review Panel deliberations when the public and all other workshop participants may be asked to leave the room.
