November 16, 2012 — The New England Fishery Management Council’s Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) meeting agenda has been revised to reflect direction provided by the NEFMC at its meeting in Newport, RI earlier this week.
The SSC will address herring ABC control rules for forage fish as planned, but also will consider an overfishing level for Georges Bank yellowtail flounder. The agenda has been revised to allow time for this second item. Please see the attachment for details and/or call with any questions.
