I wanted the feds to be infallible. I expected Obama to be something more impressive, more benign than the Bush era incompetents.
Infallible feds? Yikes, glad you have all those paid observers out there making sure that extra yellowtail filet isn't lying on the deck, while hundreds of thousands of barrels of oil flow into the Gulf, even while inspectors and regulators look the other way to waive questionable permits for more deepwater drilling as we speak.
