New Global Shrimp Council study analyzes US consumer attitudes toward shrimp

March 12, 2025 — Utrecht, Netherlands-based Global Shrimp Forum Foundation (GSFF) has published a study of U.S. consumer attitudes regarding shrimp, which offers shrimp sector stakeholders insights into how they can best position their products for the U.S. market.

The report, available as a free download from the organization’s website, was supported by the financial surplus accrued from the 2024 Global Shrimp Forum.

US shrimp consumption, buying behaviors subject of new GSSF research

August 19, 2024 — Shrimp consumption in the U.S. will be the subject of a new Global Shrimp Forum Foundation (GSFF) research project.

Ahead of the 2024 Global Shrimp Forum – taking place in Utrecht, the Netherlands, from 3 to 5 September – the GSSF has shared details of the second project it is funding, using the financial surplus last year’s conference hauled in.
