Red Lobster continues string of restaurant closures, restructures Endless Shrimp

June 5, 2026 — Restaurant chain Red Lobster has implemented several initiatives to try to turn around its financial performance after it declared bankruptcy in May 2024.

Among multiple actions it has taken, it hired a new CEO, added new seafood boils and cocktails, and partnered with celebrities on social media collaborations.

US restaurants rolling out seafood specials as part of updated spring menus

April 20, 2026 — Multiple U.S. restaurants, and even furniture retail company IKEA, are rolling out new seafood specials as they update their menus for the spring.

Fast-growing Mediterranean cuisine chain Cava, which operates over 450 locations, is introducing its first seafood offering, Glazed Salmon, on 20 April.
