September 27, 2013 — The Boston Fisheries Foundation event, which aims to raise awareness about local and global issues facing the area fishing industry, features 20 vendors with fresh-from-the-water fare, a lobster bake, an oyster shucking competition, celebrity chef demos, and live music.
Bring the kids, too — the New England Aquarium Touch Tank is just one of the hands-on activities they can enjoy. The Boston Seafood Gala takes place the night before the festival and features culinary specialties by New England chefs.
