Another Federal legislator, New York Senator Gillibrand, has joined the effort to oppose a CITES listing for spiny dogfish. 19 legislators signed a similar letter on October 9, the same day that Senator Gillibrand sent her letter. On October 14, the Rhode Island delegation sent their own letter with the same request.
