July 18, 2011 – NOAA today announced some corrections, clarifications, and modifications to existing regulations for the Northeast groundfish fishery. Through this action, we are, among other things, streamlining catch reporting and monitoring requirements for groundfish fishermen, which will both reduce some of the burden on the fishing industry and improve the reporting process.
