Last Saturday, May 1, 2010, marked the beginning of the fishing year, and the effective date of Amendment 16 for the groundfish industry. We expect that industry members may still have a lot of questions about the new regulations. To help with this transition, NOAA Fisheries Service staff will be available by phone to answer your questions throughout the weekend.
