NOAA today approved mechanisms for specifying annual catch limits and accountability measures to prevent overfishing in the Atlantic deep-sea red crab fishery under Amendment 3 to the Atlantic Deep-Sea Red Crab Fishery. We also approved New England Fishery Management Council recommendations for total allowable landings for the fishery for the 2011-2013 fishing years. To read more about this click here.
