In an effort to involve as many stakeholders as possible in shaping the summit, NOAA, in coordination with the U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution (the Institute), developed an online survey.
The survey was open to the regulated community, non-governmental organizations, interested members of the public, NOAA’s federal and state partners, and NOAA staff. In developing the survey summary, the Institute confined its analysis to comments received from external stakeholders and partners only.
All responses to the survey were anonymous. There is no attribution of comments to any individual who completed the survey in the summary report.
