January 9, 2023 — US scallop harvester and processor Lund’s Fisheries is investing $2 million (€1.9 million) in its scallop operations, with the acquisition of a new tunnel freezer for its Cape May, New Jersey facility.
The purchase will allow Lund’s Fisheries to increase its freezing capabilities to 6,000 pounds per hour, effectively doubling its current freezing capacity, the company said.
