Effective March 11, 2010, any vessel fishing under a NE multi-species Category A day-at-sea (DAS) is allowed to use all legal trawl net gear throughout the entire Western U.S./Canada Area.
Effective April 13, 2010, vessels fishing under a NE multi-species Category A DAS will be allowed to use a flounder trawl net in the Eastern U.S./Canada Area.
