May 29, 2025 — Not long after Bentonville, Arkansas, U.S.A.-based retail giant Walmart warned it would have to raise prices on customers due to tariffs, it is now planning to cut around 1,500 corporate positions as part of a restructuring push to simplify its operations, according to a memo reported by Reuters.
Teams in its global technology operations, e-commerce fulfillment in U.S. stores, and its advertising business Walmart Connect will be impacted, according to the firm.
