Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global closes with highest attendance ever

April 24, 2026 — Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global closed its 32nd edition with over 35,500 attendees, the highest in the event’s history.

The event covered over 52,980 net square meters of exhibit space containing 2,290 exhibiting companies from 85 countries from 21 to 23 April. Held at the Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue, the event spanned halls 1 through 5, including the Galleria space between halls 4 and 5, and generated an estimated economic impact of more than EUR 161 million (USD 153 million) for the city of Barcelona, event organizer Diversified said. [Editor’s note: Diversified also owns and operates SeafoodSource.]

Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global conference program to bring together more than 90 industry experts

March 26, 2026 — The 32nd edition of Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global – taking place at Fira de Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain, from 21 to 23 April – will feature, in its conference program, more than 30 educational sessions led by more than 90 international seafood industry experts.

Event organizer Diversified said the conference program will feature experts and representatives from organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), World Trade Organization (WTO), and World Wildlife Fund (WWF), as well as leading seafood companies. Seafood Expo Global’s 32nd edition confirmed to be largest in event’s history

March 10, 2026 — The latest Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global is confirmed to be the largest in the event’s history, according to event organizer Diversified.

The 32nd edition of the event, running from 21 to 23 April in Barcelona, Spain, currently has over 52,907 net square meters of exhibition space sold to date.
