Tierney to talk fishing in Cape Ann TV segment
Fishing regulations are among topics covered when Gloucester's congressman is interviewed during an episode of the "Cape Ann Report" on Cape Ann TV.
 

The special edition of the "Cape Ann Report" features a 30-minute discussion between Congressman John Tierney, whose district includes all of Cape Ann, and local attorney Meredith A. Fine.

Besides fishing regulations, the two will discuss whether the 6th District will be eliminated, the federal budget impasse, and President Obama's actions in Libya.

May 22, 2012 - Listening to the New England Council's Groundfish Advisory Panel talk about how that industry is going to pay for monitoring costs is kind of like trying to figure out how to pay your bills when you've just lost your job. Though monitoring is important keeping costs down is critical. As Panel Member Gary Libby pointed out, "If we had 100 percent monitoring we probably wouldn't have an industry."
