Senate Magnuson-Stevens Implementation Hearing
The March 8th hearing on Magnuson-Stevens Implementation is being held by the Commerce Subcommittee on Oceans and will be chaired by Senator Begich.

It was requested by Senator Bill Nelson to discuss concerns related to issues with the National Marine Fisheries Service in Florida.

Senator Kerry's office has advised Saving Seafood that the Senator continues to work toward scheduling a field hearing in Massachusetts to address issues of concern in the Northeast.

The Senator hopes that hearing will be scheduled by the end of April.
