Boston Seafood Festival, Sept. 28
The Boston Fisheries Foundation event, which aims to raise awareness about local and global issues facing the area fishing industry, features 20 vendors with fresh-from-the-water fare, a lobster bake, an oyster shucking competition, celebrity chef demos, and live music.
 

Bring the kids, too -- the New England Aquarium Touch Tank is just one of the hands-on activities they can enjoy. The Boston Seafood Gala takes place the night before the festival and features culinary specialties by New England chefs.

TOM ADAMS: Something FISHY in the Gulf

September 12, 2014 -- We can now ALL see that NOAA / NMFS has artificially set seasons  going against their own data. It seems that our fisheries managers in the Gulf are doing this to force their own agenda,  (EDF backed) pushing Sector Separation and Recreational Catch shares-IFQ’s on the recreational fishermen.
