The state representatives of Gloucester, Massachusetts -- a Republican and a Democrat -- who were among the original group of legislators who last February asked members of the Massachusetts Congressional delegation to request an Inspector General investigation of the enforcement activities of NOAA and NMFS, have asked United States Attorney General Eric Holder to appoint a special prosecutor to "investigate potential criminal and ethical violations by the NOAA Office of Law Enforcement".
