SECRETARY LOCKE STATEMENT:
Gary Locke, the United States Secretary of Commerce, announced a series of major policy and enforcement changes in the Federal government's regulation of our nation's fisheries. His comments took place during a joint Commerce Department / NOAA press conference on May 17, 2011.

ADMINISTRATOR LUBCHENCO STATEMENT:
Jane Lubchenco, Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), elaborated on the series of major policy and enforcement changes in the Federal government's regulation of our nation's fisheries. Her comments took place during a joint Commerce Department / NOAA press conference on May 17, 2011.
