Panel: Oil spill's effects on North Carolina are unclear |

There are potential problems for North Carolina created by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, but it is difficult to say what the effects on the state’s coast might be, a panel of experts said Monday evening.
J.P. Walsh, geology professor at East Carolina University, led a panel discussion at the Tipsy Teapot on the oil spill. The discussion, attended by about 65 people, was part of Go-Science’s Science Café series. Read the complete story at The Daily Reflector.
