Governor signs bill to study Massachusetts-branded seafood |

BOSTON - August 12, 2010 - Local consumers may soon be able to find Massachusetts cod at seafood counters and grocery freezers next to Alaskan salmon and Maine lobster.
A bill, filed by Rep. James Cantwell of Marshfield and signed by Gov. Deval Patrick on Monday, would create a commission to consider ways to brand seafood caught in Massachusetts. Read the complete story from The Patriot Ledger.
