Demonstration Against Catch Shares Held in Oregon

Food & Water Watch joins the fight against catch shares on Atlantic and Pacific fronts.

Earlier this month, demonstrators held a protest in downtown Eugene, Oregon, rallying against a proposed catch share program for the west coast.

Members of Food & Water Watch (FWW), held the event in order to get the attention of U.S. Representative Peter DeFazio, of Oregon's 4th Congressional District. FWW's goal was to spur the congressman to protect the interests of Oregon's fishing community.
